After the first successes in the fight against the pandemic, a bitter dispute began as to how and how quickly loosening up of the corona restrictions were announced. However, the success of the previous measures must not be used as an argument against the measures. If living conditions become uncomfortable, it will become increasingly popular to demand a quicker loosening up of economic nature and of mobility restrictions. »
Giving cheap advice is an easy task. The forthcoming necessary political decisions must only remain fact-oriented and help ensure that health and the economy are not harmed at the same time. Both should and can be safeguarded by means of a more uniform procedure with measures that are suitable for not quickly wasting away what we have gained and that enable us to better counter an impending second wave of infection.
After the extensive financial aid for employees, businesses and companies, it now comes, more than ever on the basis of the duration of the economic restrictions, to the right, especially targeted support measures. It is welcomed when social benefits are extended or rather increased. Small businesses and solo self-employed would often be more helped when, instead of granting loans that they would find difficult to service later, more lost subsidies would be granted. State investments are worth considering for systemically important large companies. »
