The WOW regional federation WOW-Asia is proud to state that two trade unions, both from the Hong Kong, have decided to become a member of the regional structure.
During the General Assembly meeting held last 16 August 2018, the Joint Organization of Unions – Hong Kong (JOU-HK) unanimously decided to affiliate with WOW-Asia and WOW.
Two days later, on 18 August 2018, WOW-Asia was informed that Federation of Civil Service Union (FCSU) also decided to join.
Ms. Necie Lucero, president WOW-Asia, stated that she is proud that of the fact that both unions expressed their desire to become a member. WOW-Asia was founded under the current name in 2015 and is the direct successor of the then Asian Brotherhood of Clerical Workers (ABCW). Since 2015 the organization has been growing steadily clearly showing that WOW-Asia is needed.
WOW-Asia and WOW welcome both JOU-HK and the FCSU in our midst and wish for a fruitful cooperation.
